How does the Close to you loyalty programme work?

Close to you is a simple, generous programme designed with you in mind where every euro spent on the site earns you 1 loyalty point.
Depending on the number of points you collect, you belong to one of 4 tiers: PURPLE, BLACK, WHITE, or GOLD, unlocking a whole world of unique rewards.
The loyalty programme is only valid online at maison-close.com.
Membership is free and only available online. You may join it if all the compulsory information requested has been completed and if you have agreed to the conditions.

Loyalty tiers

How do the tiers work?

Each level gives you access to unique benefits and rewards. To see all the benefits available for your tier, go to your customer space and the "My loyalty" tab.

How is my status decided?

The BLACK, WHITE and GOLD tiers are recalculated every 12 months from the date you enter your new tier. This means that they change based on your purchases.
Each time you make a new purchase, you earn loyalty points which give you the chance to maintain your level and the unique benefits and rewards associated with it, or to move up a tier.
Following the rule 1 euro spent = 1 loyalty point earnt, you will need to have collected:

  • 600 points to become a BLACK member
  • 1000 points to become a WHITE member
  • 2500 points to become a GOLD member

On the other hand, if you don't manage to maintain the number of loyalty points required to stay in your tier, you'll move down to the lower tier 12 months after joining.
You will be notified by email when your status changes.

How do the points work?

1 euro spent = 1 loyalty point earnt
Actions can also earn you points: 20 points for creating your account and 10 points when you follow our Instagram @maison-close, via the loyalty page in the "How do I earn points?" tab.You must be logged into your account to do this.
To reward your loyalty, changing status also earns you points: +50 points for moving to BLACK status, +100 points for moving to WHITE status, +150 points for moving to GOLD status.
As soon as you join the loyalty programme, your purchases and actions are registered and you start to collect points.
Loyalty points cannot be exchanged for discounts or experiences.

How long are my points valid?

Your loyalty points are valid for 12 months from the last activity recorded on your customer account (action performed or purchase made). Any new purchase automatically postpones the expiry of all your points by 12 months.
After 12 months of inactivity (no order and no action in terms of the Close to you programme), your points will expire and you will lose all your points.

What happens if my order is refunded (in full or partially)?

If you decide to return or cancel your entire order, the loyalty points you have earnt for that order will automatically be cancelled (including any points originally earnt for delivery charges).
However, if you decide to return or cancel part of your order, only the loyalty points earnt for the items concerned will be cancelled.

Additional benefits

How is free delivery applied at checkout?

Depending on your status and the benefits associated with it, your delivery charges will be automatically cancelled upon payment. All you need to do is log in to your account to identify your status.
