We strongly recommend hand washing to maintain the appearance and elasticity of your garments over time.
Hand washing
Hand washing is strongly recommended to maintain the quality of your garments
- Dilute a little mild detergent in a large quantity of cold water.
- Let the garment rest in the solution for a few minutes.
- Stir very carefully and gently.
- Rinse and thoroughly squeeze out any excess water. Do not wring.
- Do not mix colours.
- Do not use chlorine.
Machine washing
If you are short of time and need to machine wash certain garments, be sure to follow these tips:
- Fasten bra and bodysuit fastenings.
- Turn the garments inside out.
- Put the garments in the Maison Close washing net.
- Do not mix colours.
- Use a mild detergent.
- Do not use chlorine.
- Choose a short, delicate wash cycle with a maximum temperature of 30°C.
- Switch off the spin function.
Drying
- Do not machine dry.
- Do not dry clean
- Do not iron your lingerie. If necessary, iron on the reverse side and at low temperature, except for certain garments (dress, catsuit, etc.).
- Air dry flat or on a drying rack If you need your garment urgently, speed up the drying process by using the cold air of your hair dryer.
Specific advice for your bras
- There is no need to wash your bra after each use. It is best to wash it after wearing it twice.
- Store your cup bras well, nesting them together to prevent them from getting damaged.

Specific advise for your nipple covers:
Metal and Patent leather Nippies:
- After use, carefully remove the nipple pasties, making sure to avoid pulling at your skin. Clean the nipple pasties with a damp cloth. Leave them to air-dry on the non-adhesive side.
- Once the nipple pasties are dry, put the protective films back on and store in their box until the next time you need them.
Silicone Nippies:
- After use, carefully remove the nipple pasties, making sure to avoid pulling at your skin.Clean the nipple pasties with mild soap and lukewarm water. Leave them to air-dry on the non-adhesive side.
- Once the nipple pasties are dry, put the protective films back on and store in their box until the next time you need them.
